Allied VC Celebrates Six Years
$8 million deployed across 28 companies. More than $140 million raised behind them. The discipline has not changed.
CALGARY, AB (October 8, 2026) - Allied Venture Partners turns six.
Over the past six years, we have deployed over $8 million across 28 companies, and those companies have gone on to raise more than $140 million, with an aggregate valuation of $700 million. 2026 is on track to be our largest year yet for dollars deployed, new investments, and follow-ons.
We started Allied in 2020 to broaden access to venture capital for founders building real companies, and for aspiring angel investors who wanted a seat at the table. The thesis was simple. Seed and Series A. North American software and technology. An angel syndicate that could move quickly, stay close to the work, and be useful after the wire.
The years since have been a full cycle compressed into a short one. We invested through the 2021 bull market, the 2022 bear market, and now the AI boom. A lot of firms have come and gone through each of those cycles. We have had to underwrite in all three.
We made our first investment in ZenSports, acquired in 2022. Since then, a number of portfolio companies have raised follow-on rounds at significant markups from major institutional investors, including Fonbnk, Bavovna, Roqad, RetinaLogik, and Tiliter. We’re not in the business of chasing temporary fads or hot trends. Instead, we back companies and founders who earn the next check because the product, the customer, and the numbers have continuously improved.
What gives us an edge has not changed. Entry price matters. So dooes the team, the product, the customers, capital efficiency, and meaningful differentiation. Discipline is not a slogan for a down market. It is how a seed firm survives a hype cycle without spending the next one explaining the last.
In 2026 and beyond, we are still looking for the same types of companies. Seed and Series A. North American software and technology. AI-native applications, enterprise software, developer tools, infrastructure, marketplaces, platforms, and consumer software. Category heat is not a thesis. We continue to look for world-class teams that can execute and build something customers truly need at a price that still works if the market cools.
Most importantly, none of this happens without the founders who let us support the journey, and the LPs around the world who continue to back the portfolio. Thank you for your continued support.
